Chevrolet India unveiled at the recently held Delhi Auto Expo 2012 its new Hatchback, named Chevrolet Sail.The new Chevrolet Sail is expected to replace the Aveo UV-A by later half of this year 2012.
New Chevrolet Sail will to be powered with the same 1199cc petrol engine which is currently used by the Chevrolet Beat.The 1.2 litre engine capable of producing a maximum power of 82 Bhp @ 6400 rpm and a peak torque of 108 Nm @ 4400 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gear box.
Chevrolet Sail comes with a very sttrative stylish design and has much better spacious interior.Sail has a seating capacity of 5 like all the B+ segment cars.The top end model will be featured with automatic climate control system, Anti-lock braking system, SRS airbags, power steering, power windows, remote central locking, fog lights, alloy wheels, rear defogger and rear washer/wiper.
About the price tag.The new Chevrolet Sail hatch base model will be priced around Rs. 5 lakh.
