Yamaha India recently introduced its much awaited 2011 model of Yamaha R15.The 2011 Yamaha R15 is named as Yamaha R15 version 2.0 by the company as it resembles the older R15 in every aspect.The new 2011 Yamaha R15 is also powered with the same 149.8cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine providing a Maximum power of 16.8 bhp at 8500 rpm (17PS) and a peak torque of Maximum torque is 15 nm at 7500 rpm which is same as the previous model, which for sure is a disappointment for its fans as everyone expected more power in the new version 2.0 model.

Lets look @ what is new in the 2011 R15 all we could see new alloy wheels with Fat rear tyre - 130/70, bigger 220mm rear disc for improved braking, new ECU mapping for better acceleration and mileage, properly arranged split seat which is anti-slip and better cushioned, new LED tail light looking much better compared to the old one, nice and new design for saree guard and mudguard and a slight increase of over all weight by about 5 kg.The new Yamaha R15 version 2.0 is also the first 150cc Indian bike to feature aluminium swingarm.

Looking to the fuel efficiency the all new 2011 Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 provides a mileage of 32 kmpl for city drives and in highways a possible mileage of 42 kmpl can be achieved.New Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 is priced at Rs. 1.07 lakhs (Ex-showroom New Delhi) which is about INR 8000 higher in comparison to older R15 Version.

Hyundai Eon - Hyundai's low priced car in India

Hyundai India now on its way to introduced a new low priced car named Hyundai Eon by next month ie October 2011.The new Hyundai Eon is expected to be priced around 2.5 lakhs which will compete with Maruthi's Alto as well as Tata's Nano.

According to the available information new Eon is based on Hyundai Santro's platform.The new Hyundai Eon will be powered with an 814cc petrol engine that is expected to deliver a 48 Bhp of max power and a peak torque of 50 Nm.

New 2011 Maruti Swift petrol/diesel India launch details

Maruti Suzuki India on its way to introduce the 2011 model of its super hit hatchback, Maruti Swift. According to Maruti the new 2011 Swift will hit Indian roads on 17th August.

The new 2011 Maruti Swift comes in both petrol and diesel engine.The petrol engine was newly crafted one but the diesel engine was the same as in 2010 model which is finely tuned to produce better efficiency.

The new petrol engine is a 1298cc VTT engine which is capable of generating a maximum torque of 93 bhp at 6000 rpm and a 118 Nm of torque at 4800 rpm.The petrol engine 2011 Swift model can attain a top speed of 160 kmph and takes 10 seconds to reach 0-100 kmph mark.

The diesel engine option is a turbo-charged 1248cc DDiS Diesel engine producing 75 bhp at 4000 rpm as max power and 190 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm.

Tata Indica eV2- Most fuel efficient car

Tata Motors recently introduced a new variant of their top selling model Tata Indica V2, named as Tata Indica eV2 with 'e' stands for economical.The new Tata Indica eV2 is the most fuel efficient car in its segment by giving a mileage of 25 kmpl.

New Tata Indica eV2 comes with a more sportier look with its new new graphics, 14-inch alloy wheels and shinier lights.The hatch back from Tata brings Auto drive assist feature that ensure enables that the engine does not stall when the foot is taken off from the clutch pedal and there by enable the driver to quickly shift the foot to the accelerator which driving an up-hill road. 

The new Tata Indica eV2 comes powered with a high fuel efficient 1396cc CR4 diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 70 Bhp at 4000 rpm with maximum torque of 140 Nm at 1800 rpm.The engine is mated to a five speed maunal gear transmission.The hatch back has a ground clearance of 165 mm and its fuel tank capacity is 37 litres.

The top variants of Tata Indica eV2 Features body colored bumpers, body colored rear view mirrors, 14-inch alloy wheels, single DIN music system with USB and AUX port, wooden finish centre console, shadow beige interiors, AC, fog lamps, power windows, power steering and remote central locking.

TVS Motors recently introduced the ABS fitted Apache RTR 180 in Indian market.The new Apache RTR 180 ABS is the first Indian bike to be featured with the Anti-lock Braking System or ABS.

The new TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS looks almost similar to the non ABS Apache RTR 180.The only exceptions are the presence of ABS, new stickers and decals.The Apache RTR 180 ABS is also equipped with Rear Wheel Lift-off Protection(RLP) system that protects the bike from lift off during sudden braking situations by regulating the deceleration. 

New TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS also comes with the same 177.4cc Single Cylinder 4 Stroke engine like the already existing model capable of providing a maximum power of 17.3 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 15.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm.The engine is mated with a 5 Speed manual gear transmission.New TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS takes just 4.15 sec to reach the 0-60kmph mark and has a top speed of 125kph.
