Yamaha India introduced a special edition bike at the Auto Expo 2012, named Yamaha R15 Limited Edition Fiery Red.The new Yamaha R15 Limited Edition Fiery Red as the name indicates painted in stylish grphics in red shade with flame decals.The company announced that only 4000 units of the limited edition model will be manufactured.The price of the Yamaha R15 Limited Edition Fiery Red will be around Rs. 1.10 lakhs (ex-showroom) which is about Rs. 3000-3500 costlier than the regular version.
Other specifictions and features of New Yamaha R15 Limited Edition Fiery Red is similar to the normal R15 version.The Yamaha R15 Limited Edition gives a mileage of 32.00 kmpl during city rides and 42.00 kmpl in highways.Coming to the engine the Limited Edition as in the normal version also is powered with a 149.8cc, 4-stroke engine capable of providing a maximum power of 16.8 Bhp (17 PS) @ 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 15 Nm @ 7500 rpm.
