Mahindra XUV500 India Price, Specifications

Mahindra restarted the booking of its all new SUV, named Mahindra XUV500 which was launched in september 2011.The booking will start from 25th January and will be continued for the next 10 days.You could book the SUV in any of Mahindra's showroom for a booking price of 80,000 Rs.

Lets take a look into the details of the new Mahindra XUV500.The new Mahindra XUV500 comes avaialable in 3 variants : W6 4x2, W8 4x2 and W8 4x4 (all-wheel drive) with the base model price tag of Rs. 11.10 lakhs.

The new Mahindra XUV500 comes powered with a 2179cc, mhawk140 diesel engine capable of producing a maximum power of 140 Bhp @ 3750 rpm  and a peak torque of 330 Nm @ 1600 rpm.The new Mahindra XUV500 gives a mileage of 15.10 kmpl in highway rides and 11.00 kmpl in city drives.    

The base variant ie the Mahindra XUV500 W6 model having the external features including Static bending projector head lamps with LED parking lights, Side impact beams, Crumple zones for crash protection, Tubeless tyres, Disc brakes on all wheels. Full wheel caps, Racing-styled twin exhaust, Front and rear fog lamp, Smart rain sensing wipers and Intelligent light sensing headlamps.

The internal Features that comes witht the basic version(W6) includes Sporty dual tone interiors, Cubic-printed centre console with metal accents, Twin pod cluster with 3D-dials, Digital immobiliser, Digital trip & tachometer, Reading lamps in all 3 rows, Conversation mirror, Tinted solar-reflecting glass, Premium fabric seats, Power-foldable and adjustable ORVMs, Centre arm rest with cup holders in 2nd row, DIS in-built in infotainment system, Intellipark, Integrated music system with CD/MP3, iPod & USB connectivity,4-Door speakers with 2 tweeters on dashboard, Tilt power steering, steering mounted  Cruise, audio, phone controls & voice command switches, Fully automatic temperature control (FATC) & dual HVAC, Mobile charging points and 8-way adjustable seats.

As safety features the base model comes with Dual airbags (Driver + Passenger) and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
