TVS Apache RTR 220 India Launch Details

Recent news from TVS reveals their plan to introduce a 200+ cc sports bike in Indian market and is much likely the TVS Apache RTR 220.The official announcement is yet to be made and the rumors also reveals the possibility of TVS Apache RTR 250 with a single cylinder 250ccengine. But among the provided information its more likely a 220cc TVS Apache RTR.

The new upcoming TVS Apache RTR 220 is expected to house a 220cc Single Cylinder, 4 Stroke petrol engine could generate a 22 Bhp maximum power and a peak torque of 20 Nm.The engine is any way mated to a 5 speed gear transmission.

More information available now about the unofficial TVS Apache RTR 220 includes Telescopic Forks front suspension while packs Gas Shocks, Rectangular Swingarm rear suspension, 270mm Petal Disc front brake while the rear wheels get 200mm Petal Disc ABS.

TVS Apache RTR 220 is also expected to have a top speed of 145kph.

Its expected that TVS will bring this new TVS Apache RTR 220 in Indian markets by June 2011 with a price tag of around Rs. 95,000.
